Default ?s about Heros and Customization

1. If i have a customized weapon for one char on my account, does that mean a different char on my account cant use it also?

2. Since I just got my first few Heros in GWEN, it doesn't look like they are transferrable ever between my different chars. So I will have to bring all my chars to GWEN and play through just to get heros for them?

3. And if that's the case, then I'd have to buy runes, insignias, armor, and weapons for each hero on each char!!?? I know I dont "have to", but runes and a lil better weapons would be nice for them.

4. While I'm at it, speaking of the Heros' armor, I notice that the AL "depends on level". What does that mean? The overall level of me or the heros? Maybe that made more since if I got them early in NF, but in GWEN, you have to be lv 20 to get there anyway, and all my heros so far have been lev 20 by default. So am I to assume their default armor is max then?

5. I see other people's whose heros have a primary and secondary profession. So far, mine only have a primary. Will I have an option to get them 2ndary professions later in GWEN?

6. Oh, last one. I see that the default weapons on my heros are already customized. But will my hero be able to wield a weapon that's customized for the same char on the account? How bout a weapon that's customized for a different char on my account?

whew, that's all for now, thanks in advance.

1. Customized weapons are only usable on the character, or that character's heroes that customized said item.

2. Yes.

3. This is true.

4. Depending on it's level, the armour elevates. This mainly only applies to Nightfall heroes as most of them aren't max armour to begin with.

5. Opening the skills menu, with 'K' if you haven't configured your your controls to what you want.

6. Nope. Customization applies only for that character, and all things tied to that character. (Heroes)

1. Correct. Once customized only that character can use it. Though heroes of that character can equip the customized weapon.

2. To use a hero in PvE you have to unlock them via storyline with each separate character.

3. Again, correct. Keep in mind there are collectors all over the world. You don't have to ever actually pay for a weapon and you can just use the runes that you find as you go along. Most don't cost too much anyway.

4. Their armor level increases with their level. So, by the time they make it to 20 they will have max armor also. You never have to worry about upgrading their armor in that regard.

5. You have that option now. Open your skill list, select which hero you want to change and there is a drop box under their attributes, but before the actual skills. Can change it to any secondary you like if you have it unlocked.

6. See one. The first weapons they get are customized to them. That's all.

1. The character's name that's listed as "customized for" is the only one who can use it.

2. If you want to use them in storyline, you have to play through the storyline like you normally would to unlock each one.

3.You have to buy/find & salvage new eq/weps for each one of them, yes.

4.If they're level 20, they have max armor. You can upgrade this armor to look better (not preform better) through the use of Deldrimor Armor Remnants.

5. You can change their secondary profession at any time, but at no point will you be able to revert them to /any.

6. Your heros can use your customized weapons. Your hero's cannot use your other character's customized weapon. Simple as that.

P.S. I know the above posters already answered your questions, but just for clarification, it's always good to have more responses.

as for the items for each hero...take the stuff off and put it in the storage if you want to put it on another characters hero.

Yes, that's what I used to do, I am a little bit cheap
My heroes share weapons. When I am done with one character, I take my heroes weapons back and put them in storage, so they are available for a different character's heroes.

Heroes are expensive if you want to pimp them up.
